Community cats can survive outside in the New York winter, but with your help they can be much more comfortable!

Our Winter Shelter Workshop will be structured differently this year. There are two parts:

• Volunteers will help with the initial steps of the build the weekend of November 1st.

• Families, community members, and volunteers will volunteer to help with assembly the following 4 Sundays (11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1). These will be family friendly days with no power tools, just lots of straw, fun, snacks, handing out shelters to community caretakers and even doing some shelter decorating should you so desire.

Both Assembly Days and shelter pick up happen at our non-profit vet, Flatbush Vet located at 1460 Flatbush Ave.

If you need winter shelters or straw:

Shelters are provided at no charge to Colony Caretakers but are now claimed for this year.
