BECOME A TRANSPORT VOLUNTEER!

TNR and rescue work in a large city comes with its own special obstacles. Many residents do not own vehicles, making it challenging for a small team to get cats to their foster homes, vet appointments, and spay/neuter clinics, while also supporting large-scale TNR projects.

For urban animal welfare groups like ours, volunteer transporters are invaluable.

Are you within a 15 minute drive to Flatbush? We are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in supporting our work with contributions of their time as transporters. These assignments usually involve trips within Brooklyn, with occasional travel to Queens. If you live more than a 15-20 minute drive from Flatbush, please contact your local rescue/TNR group about helping out.

  • Spay/Neuter appointments: Early-morning and/or mid-afternoon transport of cats to a variety of clinic locations. TNR certification and holding space orientation required (1.5-3 hrs)

  • TNR project transport: TNR certification required and holding space orientation required (hours vary)
